Cornerstone Insurance, Inc. is a family owned-and-operated independent insurance agency founded by entrepreneur and agent Joshua Butts. Having experienced the industry first hand through his father's 30 year Allstate career, Butts saw the changes taking place in the Florida insurance marketplace and realized a great need existed for a client focused agency that worked with several insurance companies, instead of just one. He adamantly believes clients deserve an agency that values honestly, integrity and a passion for serving others.
"Many of the big name insurance brands have left Florida or are in the process of non-renewing policies," Butts said. "Others are just raising rates to ridiculous levels and seeing which frogs stay in the pot. The insurance market is in a state of turmoil and we can help."
Butts investigated the list of companies still offering policies in Florida and selected only those with extensive experience and financial strength.
"We looked for companies with either years of experience in Florida or with highly experienced management teams," Butts said. "I want to know my clients claims will be paid quickly and fairly should a disaster strike."
