Finding good, reliable homeowners insurance in the state of Florida is not an easy task for a homeowner these days, especially if you have an older home.
Having been with the same company for over 25 years I felt overwhelmed at the thought of trying to find the right fit for us again.
Eric Bushey at Cornerstone Insurance made such an impression on myself and my husband, he was truly a pleasure to deal with.
He answered all of our questions (for many days) made suggestions, helpful ideas, and was so kind & patient with us.

My goal when I first contacted Cornerstone Insurance Company was to lower my Car Insurance rates and my Home Owners Insurance rates. With the help of Agent Josh Gleaton i was able to accomplish that goal. Josh is very kind and courteous! Most importantly he is so knowledgable about the insurance industry! Personally, I felt like he was on my side! I was formally with the same company for 51 years! Honestly, they priced themselves out of what my wife and I could afford. The two companies I chose were because they are both highly rated! Josh gave me many choices. With his expertise and knowledge I was able to pick two great companies and literally save thousands of dollars a year with both policies! I might add without sacrificing one thing vs the other company I had. Actually, my car insurance deductible came down to 250.00 and my homeowners detectable went from 10% for the hurricane deductible to 2%. Anyway, call and ask for Josh Gleaton and he might be able to help you as he was able to help me! Totally, a 5 Star Company and Josh makes it easy and he’s a total gentleman!

I got a notice in Sept 2024 that my carrier would not be renewing my policy coming up in Jan 2025 because the agent no longer represented them. I thought, "great, just what I need to shop for insurance". Then we had 2 hurricanes back to back. I sustained roof damage and knew my current provider wasn't going to cover it because my deductible was too high. So in less than 90 days I had to find a roofing contractor get a new roof installed and get inspections done all while half of Florida was doing the same thing. I managed to get the roof and inspections done by Jan 18 and started shopping insurance. On my absolute last day I had reached out to Cornerstone and Eric contacted me first thing in the morning and by mid day I was all set with a new policy with better coverage, lower deductibles and saved $800 over my previous policy!!! Super happy!

Excellent work by Kim Glokk in helping me resolve the US Postal Service sending back a check that I had mailed. The post office said it was an incorrect address however I confirmed with Kim that it was the correct one. She was able to handle the payment over the phone. UPDATE: My renewal came up and I was scrambling to find a new carrier as my renewal was ridiculously high. I emailed Cornerstone and had the great pleasure of working with Gina. Let me explain. It’s Friday, my HO policy expires Tuesday and Monday is a holiday. Not to mention I need a 4 point Inspection and Wind Mitigation by Tuesday. I had no hope this could be done. Gina was able to refer another contractor to do the inspections since no one was calling me back. Thanks to Gina, my inspections will be done on a Saturday, not holding up me being able to switch carriers. Cornerstone always goes above and beyond with the greatest people, Josh & Gina, thank you again!

I've been with Josh since the beginning. He's always been professional and easy to work with. When he started hiring his staff, I was a little scared to deal with anyone other than Josh, but as expected he hired great people as himself. I work with Pammie who is wonderful and will get you anything you want and gets back to you right away and takes your needs into consideration. Nick helped me out considerably with insurance on my mom's townhouse. I sent him a copy of her renewal, he called me back and was worried that she didn't have the correct coverage; therefore, not having coverage at all. He advised me to call the insurance carrier of the homes; he was correct. My mom had no coverage the previous years, he got all the paperwork done quickly so we could insure her property as soon as possible. I highly recommend Cornerstone Insurance.
